Remember that the longer a sentence that starts with if is, the more necessary the comma becomes. Better put it always.

Take en vez: Hay expresiones en las que no debes usar ni make ni do, sino take. 
Dí take a photo, no make a photo para tomar una foto.
Di take a trip y no make a trip para hacer un viaje.

Recuerda que cuando uses los verbos make and do, tienes que ponerlos en el tiempo verbal requerido por el contexto.
