Ambivolo Parry sends his pages Shiver and Quiver with many presents of autumn delicacies. The Goodfellow brothers do not dare to tell him his son is under the curse of the pink cocoon. The apothecary Henny Parry is summoned but has no remedy that can help his brother. The imps know where Malina used to live before she vanished and all visit this place hoping to find someone there who can help them break the spell Umbrian is under.
