I´m learning more English than anyone else because I´m practical and always go straight to the bottom of things.

Estoy aprendiendo más inglés que nadie porque soy práctico y siempre voy al grano.

But I had a bit of a problem with the difference between the past simple and the past continuous.

Pero tenía un problemilla con la diferencia entre el pasado simple y el pasado continuo.

So I took some notes and made sketches of myself learning about all this, the practical way.

Así que tomé unos apuntes e hice dibujos de mi mismo aprendiendo sobre esto, de manera práctica.

The Youth of Sigüenza

I loved to read and dream and I would have liked to live peacefully doing both, but in my time, a man had to go to war and fight for the ideas of his community.

Me encantaba leer y soñar y me hubiese gustado vivir tranquilamente haciendo estas cosas, pero en mis tiempos un hombre tenía que ir a la guerra por las ideas de su comunidad.

So I fought the Moors in Granada. And I was ambushed and killed at the age of twenty six. Now that I´m dead, I have more time to myself. I´m always reading and dreaming. And now, I´m learning English.

Así que luché contra los moros en Granada. Y me mataron en una emboscada a la edad de veintiseis años. Ahora que estoy muerto, tengo más tiempo para mi mismo. Siempre estoy leyendo y soñando. Y ahora estoy aprendiendo inglés.
