2. Who Achilles is. / Quién es Aquiles.

He is the hero of the ancient Greek epic poem "The Iliad." He was a spoiled and bad tempered young man who was always angry for this or that reason, and used to sulk instead of finding clever solutions to his problems.

Es el heroe del antiguo poema épico griego "La Iliada." Era un joven malcriado y malhumorado que siempre se enfadaba por esto o por aquello y solía picarse en lugar de solucionar sus problemas de forma inteligente.

The poem is partly about how angry Achilles is for several different reasons, such as because somebody stole one of his girlfriends or because the Trojans have killed his imprudent best friend during the Trojan war. That´s why it is said that the poem is about the wrath of Achilles. Of course, to understand all this you also need to know what wrath means, it means rage or anger.

El poema trata en parte sobre lo enfadado que estaba Aquiles por distintos motivos, por ejemplo porque le habían robado una novia o porque habían matado a su mejor amigo, un joven muy imprudente, durante la guerra de Troya. Por eso se dice que la Iliada es sobre la ira de Aquiles. Claro que para entender todo esto hay que saber lo que quiere decir ira, que significa rabia o enfado.

En español, se llama lazarillos a los que guían a los ciegos, o a cualquier guía hoy en día, en recuerdo del personaje principal de la novela picaresca "El Lazarillo de Tormes." No se menciona a Lazarillo en la entrada anterior, pero insistió en aparecer en esta y quiere salir en otra en el futuro.
