It´s a different kind of mythology I am here to tell you about this month. In truth I want to recommend a hilarious classic film starring the great Eddie Cantor. It is called "Roman Scandals."

Es una mitología distinta de la que os voy a hablar este mes. Quiero recomendaros una película tronchante que ya es un clásico. Sale el gran Eddie Cantor y se titula "Escándalos Romanos." 

They say things are cyclic. The song below served to cheer up those who had to move to tenements during the Great Depression. For once, read the comments about the video. They are all interesting and some have a lot to do with what is happening today, from the one about how the writer had to leave his/her home and move to a friend's garage but had never thought he/she would indentify with this old song to the one that explains how Warner Brothers preferred to include social realism in its musicals while other studios thought showing only luxury did more to uplift people´s spirits. What do you think?

Dicen que todo es cíclico. La canción de abajo sirvió para animar a los que tuvieron que mudarse a corralones durante la Gran Depresión. Por una vez, leed también los comentarios al video, que son muy interesantes además de actuales. Desde el del que ha perdido su casa y ha tenido que mudarse al garage de un amigo pero nunca pensó que algún día se identificaría con esta vieja canción hasta el del que dice que para animar a la gente la Warner metía realismo social en sus musicales cuando otras productoras preferían mostrar sólo lujos con el mismo fin. ¿Qué os parece?
