Turbulent pupils of 1E, we´ve created these rhymes to help you remember questions words, and most especially so you can tell one from another.

Turbulentos alumnos de 1E, hemos creado unas rimas en inglés para ayudaros a recordar las palabras que preguntan. Y sobre todo para que podáis distinguir una de otra.

“Who?” asked the owl. The answer was, “You!”

(“¿Quién?” preguntó el búho. La respuesta fue “¡Tú!”)

“How?” asked the Indian chief. “How do you do?”

(“¿Cómo?” preuntó el jefe indio. “¿Cómo estás tú?”)

“What?” asked the cat. The answer was, “That!”

(“¿Qué?” preguntó el gato. La respuesta fue, “¡Eso!”)

“When?” asked the hen. The answer was, “At ten!”

(“¿Cuándo?” preguntó la gallina. La respuesta fue, “¡A las diez!”)

“Where?” asked the bear. The answer was, “There!”

(“¿Dónde?” preguntó el oso. La respuesta fue, “¡Allí!”)

“Why,” asked the fly, “can’t I have lemon pie?”

(“¿Por qué,” preguntó la mosca, “no puedo tomar tarta de limón?”)

“Whose?” asked the goose. “Whose are these shoes?”

(“¿De quién?” preguntó el ganso. “¿De quién son estos zapatos?”)

“Which?” asked the witch. “I´ve poisoned one. But which?”

(“¿Cuál?” preguntó la bruja. “He envenenado una. ¿Pero cuál?”)

“They treat me like an object,” protested little Whom, following a preposition that entered the room.

(“Me tratan como un objeto,” protestó la pequeña Whom, al entar en la habitación tras una preposición.)
