Listen, Cousin Michael, do you remember how the judges failed in your favor during the Curmudgeon kidnapping trial and condemned Magpie to let you have your pick from her stores and warehouses for not having duly reported she had your lost leprechaun shoe in her power?

Escucha, primo Michael. ¿Recuerdas como los jueces fallaron a tu favor durante el juicio por secuestro de Cascarrabias y condenaron a Urraca a dejar que te llevases lo que te apeteciese de sus tiendas y almacenes  porque no dio parte de que tenía en su poder el zapato de léprecan que tú habías perdido?

 Have a look at this pencil I have here. There are only four others like it in the world. And I happen to be wanting them. They say there is nothing you can´t find at Magpie's. So she is bound to have one or two or more of these.

Echa un vistazo a este lápiz que tengo aquí. Sólo hay otros cuatro como éste en el mundo. Y resulta que yo deseo poseerlos. Dicen que no hay nada que no se pueda encontrar ahí donde Urraca. Así que seguro que ella tiene uno o más de estos.

 I want you to choose those pencils for yourself and then give them to me. Understood?

You wait until you know what you really need and then demand it. There could be an emergency and we might desperately need something only she has got.

Eh… Alpin, your cousin Michael is right. He has to wait for the right moment. And Magpie is a bad person, unsafe to have dealings with. If we go see her, she´ll learn that we have a magic treasure and she might end up stealing it from us instead of us getting hers.

Eh…Alpin, tu primo Miguel tiene razón. Ha de esperar al momento oportuno. Y Urraca es una mala persona con la que no conviene tener trato alguno. Si vamos a verla, averiguará que tenemos un tesoro mágico y puede que nos lo robe en vez de darnos los suyos.

Plus I don´t think we need to see her to find the pencils. Mr. Ominous said to follow the white wall. I bet they have been lying out there by Owl Wood Manse all the time. We´d better hurry and return there before someone else beats us to it and claims them.

Además, no creo que necesitemos verla para encontrar los lápices. El Sr. Ominoso dijo que siguiéramos la pared blanca. Apuesto a que han estado escondidos cerca de la mansión de la arboleda de los búhos todo este tiempo. Será mejor que nos demos prisa y volvamos allí antes de que alguien se nos adelante y los reclame.

I think you frightened them away. How nice of you! Thank you again, Garth. You are so kind when you want to be. Your knit bombing is looking really pretty. And the hammock is the most useful gift I have ever received. Zzzzzzzz!

I am always kind. But people who disturb the peace of quiet places enrage me. Especially if they do it out in the country at night. They seem to think there is no one sleeping out there to bother. Well, there is. You are tired because you work like a human, Michael. You do things no fairy should. All we should do is protect nature and preserve peaceful rural environments.In fact, that´s all humans should do too.

Yo siempre soy amable. Lo que pasa es que me carga la gente que perturba la paz de los lugares apacibles. Sobre todo si lo hacen de noche en el campo. Parecen pensar que no hay nadie descansando ahí fuera a quién podrían molestar. Pues lo hay. Tú estás cansado porque trabajas como un humano, Michael. Haces cosas que ningún hada debe hacer. Todo lo que debemos hacer es proteger la naturaleza y conservar el medio ambiente y la paz en los lugares bucólicos. De hecho, eso es todo lo que deberían hacer los mortales también.
