Ye Fay, F.C. / El Club de Fútbol Ye Fay

This chronicle is dedicated to Arley´s double because he likes football. He says that he has an allergy and that his name is Clem.

Esta crónica está dedicada al doble de Arley porque le gusta el fútbol. Dice que tiene alergia y que se llama Clemente.

Hey, Puck! Where is that Mungo Binky´s secret office?
¡Eh, Puck! ¿Dónde está la oficina secreta del Mungo Binky ése?

Who wants to know?

Titania

What do you mean who? I´m asking you myself. Binky is missing since November, 2008. We fear something may have happened to him. The moles say he was last seen at his office on Christmas Eve, scribbling away as if possessed. Where is Oberon? He should be out looking for Binky.

¿Cómo que quién? Te lo estoy preguntando yo. Binky lleva desaparecido desde noviembre del 2008. Tememos que le pueda haber sucedido algo. Los topos dicen que fue visto por última vez en su oficina en Noche Buena, escribiendo como un poseso. ¿Dónde está Oberón? Debería ponerse a buscar a Binky.

Puck

Oberon is at a match of mediaeval football. The guys from the Ye Fay F.C. have taught Artemius how to play football and he´s turned out to be a crack. He says he found it easy to learn because he had already played harpastum, which is a roman game that is similar to football. The Sidhe Bang F.C. , who always were practically unbeatable, are having trouble defending their champions´ title. They have been playing since the 19th of March, without stopping and unable to break a draw. It´s really thrilling.

Oberón está en un partido de futból medieval. Los del Ye Fay F.C. han enseñado a Artemio a jugar al fútbol y ha resultado ser un crack. Dice que le fue fácil aprender porque ya había jugado a harpastum, que es un juego romano parecido al fútbol. Los del Sidhe Bang F.C. , que siempre han sido casi imbatibles, están viéndose morados para defender su título de campeones. Llevan jugando desde el 19 de Marzo sin parar y sin desempatar. Es muy emocionante.

Titania

Then why hasn´t Oberon taken the kids with him? They love football.

¿Entonces por qué no ha llevado Oberón a los chiquillos? Les encanta el fútbol.

Puck

Because they were playing with that changeling, you know who I mean, that changeling that was never exchanged, the one that is always causing problems. You can´t take that kid anywhere, and least of all to this match, for three good reasons. One, he refuses to watch a game if the presence of hooligans isn´t guaranteed. Two, he finishes all the refreshments before the vendors can offer them to the public. Three, Artemius says he is a jinx. He can´t concentrate on the game if he sees the kid among the public.

Porque estaban jugando con ese niño cambiado, ya sabe quién digo, ese cambiado que no fue cambiado, el que causa tantos problemas. A ese niño no se le puede llevar a ninguna parte, y menos a este partido, por tres buenas razones. Una, se niega a asistir a un partido en el que no esté garantizada la presencia de hooligans. Dos, acaba con todos los refrescos antes de que los vendedores puedan ofertárselos al público. Tres, Artemio dice que es gafe. No puede concentrarse en el juego si le ve entre el público.

I can well believe that he eats everything up, but that he should need hooligans to liven up a match of mediaeval football...with all the players who end up hurt. And I can´t say dead, because we´re not mortal. When are you going to change to modern football, like the mortals did? We have to admit they are more evolved than we are in that sense.

Lo de que se coma todo me lo creo. Pero eso de que hagan falta hooligans para amenizar un partido de fútbol medieval... ¡Con la cantidad de heridos que hay! Y no digo muertos porque no somos mortales. ¿Cuándo vais a pasaros al fútbol moderno, como los mortales? En eso tenemos que admitir que están más evolucionados que nosotros.

Puck

At least we haven´t gone off to war to feel fulfilled in a long time.
Al menos hace mucho que no vamos a la guerra para sentirnos realizados.

Titania

That´s quite true. And now, back to Binky and his office.
También es verdad. Y ahora, volvamos a lo de Binky y su oficina.

Puck

He´s got two. In one he receives all who wish to see him and all who have complaints of any kind.
It´s located at the very top of an enormous weeping willow that grows practically on the peak of a mountain. He likes skyscrapers. It has an enormous graffito you can see from afar that says: "Fear not to bring your complaints here. You´ll leave with more."

Tiene dos. En una recibe a todos los que le quieren ver y a todos los que tienen alguna queja. Está en lo más alto de un enorme sauce llorón que crece casi en el pico de una montaña. Le gustan los rascacielos. Tiene un enorme grafito que se ve desde lo lejos y que dice: "No temáis traer vuestras quejas aquí. Os iréis con aún más."

We´ve been there already. There is no trace of Binky. We consulted with the moles once more, but they said they had already spoken too much and scuffled off into their tunnels.

Ahí ya hemos estado. No hay ni rastro de Binky. Consultamos otra vez con los topos que dijeron que ya habían hablado de más y se escabulleron por sus túneles.

Puck

The secret office is in a bunker underneath the ground, deep under the bottom of a swamp.

La oficina secreta está en un bunker bajo tierra, en lo más profundo de un pantano.

Titania

Oh! I´m not going to a swamp. The vapors will ruin my hairdo. I´m sorry, but you´ll have to draw Oberon away from the game and go look for Binky. I´m very tired. I have to go to sleep.
I´ve been awake for a very long time and I need to rest.

¡Uy! Yo a un pantano no voy, que los vapores me estropean el peinado. Lo siento, pero tendrás que sacar a Oberón del partido y tendréis que buscar a Binky. Yo estoy muy cansada. Tengo que irme a dormir, que llevo mucho tiempo despierta y necesito descansar.

Don´t worry. Rest assured. I will deal with this.
