Para formar la interrogativa del presente simple en inglés primero hay que distinguir entre las preguntas que se contestan con sí o no y las preguntas que llevan palabra pregunta. En esta entrada repasaremos el grupo Yes/No.

PREGUNTAS QUE SE CONTESTAN CON SÍ O NO (Yes/No questions):
Para todas las personas menos la 3ª singular, la fórmula es:
Do + sujeto + verbo principal en la forma base + resto +?
Ejes. Do you speak English? / ¿Hablas (tú) inglés?
Do they play tennis? / ¿Juegan (ellos) al tennis?
Do I win a prize for this? / ¿Gano yo un premio por esto?
Para la tercera persona singular, la fórmula es la misma, pero se usa does en lugar de do como verbo auxiliar:
Does + sujeto + verbo principal en la forma base (sin s) + resto +?
Does she speak English? / ¿Habla (ella) inglés?
Does he play tennis? / ¿Juega (él) al tennis?
Does it bite? / ¿Muerde?
